JUICE WRLD VOL. 1
A la Vôtre ‘Ca C’est Bon!’
100% Gamay from the 600 mile stretch of Loire Valley. Growing conditions in this region are so similar to that of the Beaujolais, it makes a perfect match for Gamay to be grown here. The vintner, Laurent started producing natural wines in 2010, and almost exclusively uses carbonic maceration for his wines. This one has been touted as the perfect bistro wine, unpretentious, quaffable, convivial, and certainly very very agreeable!
Pardas ‘Sus Scrofa
Wooof, this wine. What a wine! Coming from our pals at Pardas which is located in Catalonia. Ramon and his team have been focusing on restoring century old vines on their small plot of land. With an immense amount of loving going into the vines, so it flows into the wine. This crushable red wine made from Sumoll spends some time in old concrete tanks before it is bottled with minimal additions. Slightly tannic, well integrated acidity and a touch of salinity, this one for the ages.
Mylène Bru ‘Cartouche’
Mylène and her partner run this small biodynamic farm located in Saint-Pargoire. They grow some classic varietals, but the cartouche is a love letter to Grenache. All of their wines are treated with the utmost respect, and will never be fined, or have added sulfur at bottling. Mylène describes this wine as pure juice, and boy do we agree. You have all the ripe black fruit, citrus pith and pomegranate seed.
